Kenyasha is a passionate educator, mentor, and community advocate dedicated to empowering at-risk youth and transforming their futures. As the founder of Dot’s SURE Foundation (Supporting and Uplifting at-risk Youth through Empowerment), Kenyasha leverages her extensive expertise in student services and higher education to create pathways for success in underserved communities.​Growing up in Liberty City, Kenyasha overcame significant challenges, including parental drug addiction and becoming a young mother at 19. Her journey of resilience and determination shaped her commitment to supporting others facing adversity. She began her academic journey at Miami Dade College, earned a Bachelor’s degree in English from Florida International University, and completed a Master’s in English Education. Currently pursuing a PhD in Higher Education and Innovation at St. Thomas University, she exemplifies the transformative power of education.With over 15 years of experience in higher education, Kenyasha has championed Dual Enrollment programs, enabling high school students to earn college degrees alongside their diplomas. Her innovative approaches and deep understanding of diverse student needs have impacted countless lives.​Through Dot’s SURE Foundation, Kenyasha provides mentorship, academic resources, and empowerment programs to help youth thrive despite life’s challenges.
